this is my 1ooth post and probably my final one. i really don't have the time to blog anymore:(

hence, i leave my dedicated readers with these music links. (please click on the words, they lead to various drop.io) kindly do not delete any music from the drop, but do add files from your own library onto the drop if there's space and it's the same artist/album.

Even with her X-Factor win, this British singer has a lot on her plate, singing for the handover ceremony at the Olympics. Hit after hit, she sings- but can she write?

What do you do when you've got a hit song and lacking in music video views on YouTube? Why, come up with a competition for musicians to cover your song, link as a response video, and jack up the number of views!

As with Miley, Demi, Selena and the rest of the Disney gang, they have successfully garnered a following that requires some fast running skills and ear-plugs- and we don't mean from terrible screamo vocals and reverbing guitars either.

Winner: Demi Lovato, for "This is Me"; "Don't Forget" album

Demi deserves this award after her successful "This Is Me" duet with Joe Jonas, even with her less-than-perfect performance of debut single "Get Back" and her manipulation of her ties with the JoBro to get to her spot. ShowBiz ain't always pretty, and the music industry is the same. Kudos to her webshow with Selena Gomez to head off the Miley & Mandy show, but that's a story for the Video awards (see Part 2, coming your way soon).

With the sudden onslaught of Miley Cyrus and Savannah Outen covers creating 'new' versions of this country song, it's amazing how the original has also increased drastically in popularity, not to mention co-songwriters Scott Cutler and Anne Preven, along with Cheyenne, pocketing royalties from Miley's Breakout sales.
18-year-old Cheyenne has a much sweeter voice than Miley and is a left-handed guitarist. We smell a hookup with fellow leftie David Archuleta.

After Jordan's second album received lacklustre appeal from the non-Radio Disney crowd, Daniel's one went serious with some vocal acrobatics and Britney's just didn't make the cut, Krystal's seems like a Heaven-sent cut of songs veering from her Christian label.

Her first album spanned the well-received "7 Things" and her face is plastered all over magazine stands. Her Best of Both Worlds concert was sold out and people queued for hours to watch a virtual Miley 'reach out and touch their hands' on a 3D cinema screen. She was on Oprah and has a sweetie-pie accent and country-singing rockstar dad in tow. She lives a double life as a superstar... oh wait! She IS a superstar. What's there not to like? (This is a rhethorical question which I do not agree with.)
